During the period of time between October 15, 2009 and December 15, 2009, Comcast offered a “FREE” digital starter upgrade that included a digital converter box. The “FREE” time period was scheduled to end effective July 1, 2010.
Comcast, while avoiding the proper contacts, recently reported that for those residents that still have their converter box and digital starter upgrade, Comcast will continue to keep those residents on a free rate code for those services until such time a digital upgrade is worked out.

Comcast has been broadcasting a notice on televisions that after June 17 all TV's must have a digital device to view channels above 25. We have had the communications below with our Comcast Representative.

Comcast is apparently sending messages via the main menu of high definition subscribers in Century Village East that says something to the effect of, “A TVs need digital devices - As of June 17, 2010 All TVs must be connected to a digital device to view channels above channel 25. Visit us online at Comcast.com/digitalnow or call 1-877-634-4434 to order a digital device now."
I need to know please, if this message applies to subscribers in Century Village East, as I anticipate a lot of questions from my residents.

No, this does not apply to CVE. There is no way to stop the message going to everyone that this is affecting.
