ALLIANCE FRANCOPHONE CVE

The Alliance francophone CVE (French Alliance) is a non-profit organization fully structured with a Board of Directors and has more than 2,000 french-speaking residents in Century Village.  Most of them are French speaking Canadian Snowbirds from different provinces such as Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia as well as Europeans and a few French speaking US citizens.

The Alliance francophone was created in 1995 for the purpose of fostering friendly relations between its members, encouraging the exchange of ideas and promoting social, cultural and recreational activities.

Members may participate in all activities such as petanque, shuffleboard, golf, aquaforme, volleyball, softball, billiard, bridge, euchre, cribbage, scrabble, tennis, whist militaire, English classes & conversation, computer classes, arts & crafts, painting, stained glasses, reading club, memoire writing, choir, video and movie club, conferences, excursions, photography, theatre, variety shows, line dancing classes, theme dances, French library services just to name a few…

The Alliance francophone CVE has its own information bulletin called the “Oyez” as well as our own website www.af-cve.org .

In recent years the Alliance francophone has worked closely with Master Management and Bay Management to create a friendly partnership in the offering of our activities.
